Nanette, our poster girl, is owned by Dennis Kennedy of S.M. Contracting.
The Nanette was built in Sechelt Inlet at Doriston, by local boat builder George Gilmour, and launched in 1995. She is wood construction, using local yellow/red cedar and finished by Dennis in yew & yellow cedar for a truly West Coast feel.
Nanette is a traditional design of a West Coast double-ender:
- length: 11.43 metres
- beam: 3.66 metres
- draft: 1.68 metres
- tonnage: 10.43 tonnes
Nanette is now moored at the Government Dock in Sechelt Inlet.
